CRIF-Study: Where do Swiss companies relocate? Valais gains new companies but businesses move away from Zurich
CRIF AG has looked at where companies listed in the Swiss commercial register moved within Switzerland in 2021. The Cantons of Valais, Thurgau and Appenzell Ausserrhoden recorded the highest net growth.

Slight decline in the rate of defaulting debtors to 6.33%
CRIF AG has calculated the rate of defaulting debtors in Switzerland. In spite of the continuing pandemic, the rate of defaulting debtors has declined slightly in comparison with January 2021 (from 6.45% to 6.33%). The number of defaulting debtors has dropped to 553,344.

CRIF study: overall portfolio of businesses grew by 3.4% in 2021
In 2021, the overall portfolio of businesses in Switzerland grew by 3.4%. The highest level of growth was reported by the Cantons of Schwyz and Zug, at 4.7%, followed by the Canton of Thurgau, at 4.5%. On the other hand, the Canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden experienced a negative growth of -0.4%.
