Over the past 5 years, Globus’s online business has grown by an average of 90% every year. The attractive, high-quality range of products offered by the Globus online shop make it an increasingly frequent target for fraud attempts, and so Globus has been looking for a fraud prevention solution. We included the fraud prevention solutions and services offered by CRIF AG among those that we evaluated. This was because Globus and CRIF had already worked successfully together for many years in relation to our credit checking processes. In this instance, we were impressed by CRIF because they were not only able to offer us an excellent technical solution, but also able to immediately place a complete team of experts at our disposal to carry out the fraud detection activity itself.
Here at Globus, we serve individual customers who have individual requirements. Rather than leaving the fraud prevention operation entirely to an algorithm, we decided to use a combination of humans and machine solutions. CRIF was able to offer us a well-established team of fraud detection experts, so we decided to outsource this competence – allowing us to concentrate fully on our customers, without having to think about fraudulent intentions.
Throughout the entire project, the support we received was professional and highly customer-focussed; CRIF’s whole team oriented their efforts towards accommodating our requirements, expectations and demands, then implementing them quickly and competently.
We were very pleased with our interactions with CRIF’s fraud experts, as well as their operational performance. We were able to prevent several thousand CHF worth of potential fraud from the very outset, with no corresponding reduction in the conversion rate. In addition, we also found that we could massively reduce our internal expenditure on fraud prevention measures. By comparison, the cost of CRIF’s solution, using Fraud Prevention Outsourcing, was very affordable.
I can strongly recommend working with CRIF to any trader who is experiencing challenges in relation to fraud”.
